Catching up on some big moments

I've been terrible at blogging since Dale's been home/Miles has been born. Weird I know.
Anyway... I had a minute so I wanted to share these landmark moments in our lives from the past couple of months.

First up, Parker graduation Kindergarten in May. I can't believe I didn't blog about it. It was the cutest darn thing ever. The kids all said what they wanted to be when they grew up. Parker, along with like 5 other boys, all said Monster Truck Driver. It was adorable.

Next, Macy caught her very first fish in June. I'm pretty sure it's the biggest bullhead I've ever seen.

Parker played t-ball once again. He did way better this year than last. I didn't have to yell at him once to quit playing in the dirt, and he seemed to really catch on to how the game works. Next year is the real deal. I hope he does good in little league too.

The kids both got new bikes and helmets this summer. This is Macy's very first bike ever. I took them both to Toys R Us and let them pick out what they wanted. Then they rode them through the store for a bit before we got them checked and paid for. These might have been the greatest purchase of the year.

This one isn't as exciting as new bikes, but Miles took his first train ride at the Lincoln Children's Zoo. After spending months being scared to brave going solo with all 3 kids in public, I've really found my groove and can do it with ease now. Yay me!

Last I have today is Miles started eating solids a month ago! Just this week though he started really figuring out how to swallow the stuff. Now he loves it.

That's it for today.

  1. Love the photos, Gail. And I'd say you being able to take all 3 kids out with you in public is a huge accomplishment. It's not easy - I remember I dreaded doing that when my three were little.
