Achieving some Personal Bests

I had 2 goals today. 1. Run 6 miles. 2. Run for an hour. The result: I just ran 6.71 miles in slightly more than an hour. 

I blogged a while back about my running my fastest 2 mile since high school. Well, two days ago, I beat that time by more than a minute and a half. Then I ran another mile on top of it at that same pace making it my fastest 3 mile. 

So running is going well. I hope I can keep up this momentum. I signed up for another 10k race in April. I figure it'll be midway between now and the half marathon so it's a good way for me to see how I'm doing in a competitive environment, which is always different than just running a gravel road alone.

2011: 50.42 miles
