Dale and I were married August 29 and 6 months from that date is February 29. We all know that February 29 only happens every 4 years, so this year, our first, we don't get to even celebrate. Sometime between today and tomorrow, Dale and I have been married for 6 months. So at 12:00:00 tonight, Dale and I will celebrate our 6 month anniversary doing my favorite thing in the world. Sleeping! Happy Half Anniversary Dale!
I can't end this post without adding a funny bit about Parker. Every time he sees a picture from our wedding or sees a wedding on TV he exclaims "You're married mom!" This happens about once a day. I asked him if I looked beautiful in the pictures once, and he replied "no, you looked like ffflllppprrppp" (yeah, that's a raspberry). That's what I get for fishing for compliments I guess.
