Yesterday I reached my 34th week of pregnancy. Apparently that meant I really needed to start getting some more of my baby stuff ready. First, I put together the bouncy seat. Then I got out the new infant car seat out and read the directions. It's currently waiting for me to install into the truck. In the meantime, Macy's been using them for her babies. It's pretty cute.
Luckily for me, the crib was still all put together and in my room from when we moved in, but I did have to find the changing table and get it put back together. With Macy's help, we got it together and in my room. I put a few of the baby things we have out on it and it just makes this whole baby thing that much more real. (Ignore the ugly carpet/wallpaper. My room is the last one I'm going to touch in this house.)
Last, and certainly the most important, here is my ginormous belly in all its glory. As expected, I'm large, but I'm still 8lbs less at this point than I was with Macy and 10lbs less than I was with Parker. I hope I can keep the trend over the next 6 weeks and not have to run those extra pounds off my booty later. Everything pregnancy-wise is going well. Baby is head down, my body is starting to hurt again, and getting a good night's sleep is getting harder. You know, the normal stuff.
Oh, and in case you're wondering, the woman who cleaned my teeth this week at the dentist's office is due the day before me with her 3rd child and she's equally as large as me. We shared a bonding moment talking about the horrible things people say when it comes to our size. I mean, I don't care who you are, you don't need to insist a pregnant lady has to be due any day, or having twins, or whatever. Just tell her she looks great or say nothing at all.
