This past weekend, Dale was finally able to take Parker to his very first Husker game. I'm pretty sure Dale's been waiting for this moment since 2007, when P dizzle was born.
I was able to find some decent tickets for this past Saturday's game against Illinois, and we decided that even though the weather wasn't supposed to be great, it was time for Parker to go to a game.
We got up early Saturday and Dale told Parker they were going to go have a boys day in Lincoln. Once they got there, the surprise was sprung on Park that they were going to the game. I wish I could have seen his face, but Dale did get a great picture of Parker holding the tickets.
Overall, they had a pretty great time. Parker lasted until sometime in the second quarter before he was ready to go. We didn't expect him to make the whole game, so it wasn't a big deal. It was a good day for Parker and Dale and I'm glad they had a great time.
