Remember that hailstorm we got back in May? Well our insurance company decided to also give us some money to repaint the garage doors as well.
I pretty much hated that barn red color they were before so I figured it was a good time to get them repainted into a more appealing color. I debated it for a long long time, then decided that the best color for garage doors is white. I love it.
Now I just have to get that tiny door next to the garage fixed. It pretty much rotted after becoming super water-logged. I'd paint it as a quick fix if I ever had spare time, but we all know that's not going to happen any time soon.
Once that tiny door is fixed, I'll also be painting our front door to be anything but that red. It's kind of nice to be the homeowner and get to decide these things. I also want to tear out those bushes because I hate them. My to-do list never ends I guess.
