On Memorial Day, the kids and I took a stroll through the Lincoln Children's Zoo. This year they're having their Biggest Celebration Ever and have been randomly giving out envelopes with gifts in them to guests. Yeah, I became one of those lucky guests and won a free drink and train ticket. Which was awesome because as a season pass holder, the only thing I need to buy when I go are train tickets for me and Parker. (Macy is still small enough to ride for free.)
I love the Children's Zoo. It's just small enough that it's not a daunting task to get through, or expect your child to walk through themselves. And it's usually not super crowded with people, so getting through it is pretty easy.
