Week three

Macy is three weeks old already! Here's an update on how we're doing:

Macy: Sleeps during the day, not so much at night. Likes to be snuggled close. She's awake a lot more and loves to look around. Wants to eat ALL the time and isn't a big fan of her pacifiers. Does not tolerate formula very well. Prefers mom over dad and absolutely has blue eyes.

Parker: Is beginning to have a hard time adjusting to Macy being here. Is whiny a lot and is regressing a bit on the potty training (dang!). He remains a good helper and mess maker. Has taken a liking to helping mom mix ingredients for dinner, but still has the most fun with dad. Adopted a baby turtle while fishing last weekend. He had a great time with it. Mom let him keep it in the tub for a few days before dad had to return it to his home.

Gail: Tired. Really. Tired. As in can't even wear her contacts anymore tired (eyes hurt too bad). Wishes she had a social outlet where she could have adult conversation and her kids could play. Wants a nap, a cherry limeade from Sonic, and clothes that fit.

Dale: (As observed by Gail) Hating instruments and wishes it would be over soon. Wants more time for hunting and football than his wife and job will let him have. Is starting to figure out how to keep Macy from crying without having to get a bottle :)
