Busy?

I don't think a tiny word like busy can explain what I've been lately. Perhaps engrossed or assiduous are better adjectives to apply to my life right now.

I'm quite literally up at 5 or 6 each morning working and awake until 10 or 11 at night working. I'm not exactly working the entire 5 am to 11 pm span, as I have all the childcare and fort holding duties, but it makes for very long days. I essentially work full-time, take care of the kids full-time and freelance part-time, which is crazy if you think about the logistics of all of it.

Of course, it's a blessing I'm able to accomplish so much. I'm all about opportunity and I will do everything I can to succeed in this current endeavor. It's just what I do.

But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to a small lull in activity so I can catch up on some much needed beauty sleep. I'm pretty sure these bags under my eyes are starting to turn into luggage.
