Yesterday my dearest baby boy turned 5 years old. What? Already?I know I'm not at all partial or anything, but he's pretty much the greatest 5 year old in the whole wide world. Seriously.
To start, the kid is hilarious. You've read the Parkerisms, but seeing and hearing this kid in action is far superior than my account of how the conversation went down.
Another thing that makes Parker super great is that huge brain of his. He remembers all sorts of events and things from the past few years, that I can barely remember. He has a huge vocabulary, loves books, and super loves watching animal shows, such as the National Geographic ones. If he has a question that I don't know the answer to, he always says, "Let's think about it," and then we have to talk through what we think the answer is and why. I love it.
He's also so very sweet and he's definitely a mama's boy, that's for sure. He's a great guy and even though I'm kind of sad he's already 5, I enjoy seeing him grow and I look forward to all the years we have ahead of us.
