I've lived among the trees in the Black HIlls of South Dakota. I've lived among the fields of Nebraska. I never once had an allergic reaction to something in the environment. 26 years of being convinced I'm one of the lucky ones, then BAM! I'm allergic to Alabama.
Ok, so it's more like I'm allergic to the peanut pollen or something, but I hate it. I have to wear my glasses 90% of the time because my eyes itch and wearing contacts makes it worse. My nose is runny, I have a sinus headache and my throat is scratchy. It's awesome. Just freaking awesome.
The worst part is all medicine makes me drowsy, and I can't go about taking drowsy medicine when I've got a few kids to take care of. Thanks for attending my pity party this evening :(
