I've started my Christmas shopping. Normally this doesn't start until Novemberish, but being in Alabama has made me a different person I guess.
I've got majority of our gifts to our extended families bought, a few for the kids and Dale, and some sort of ideas for the people remaining. It's hard to buy for people when you don't really know what they want so I just use the "would I want this" method as I shop.
The hardest ones to buy for this year are my 8-year old nieces and my mom, who is the hardest every year. I've gone back and fourth on if I should get my nieces books, jewelry, dolls, or some sort of drawing book. I just can't decide. My mom is hard to shop for because she's not one who is big on having stuff and when she does actually want something she buys it for herself. Every year my sisters and I seem to just go in together on a gift that mom needs but hasn't bought herself yet. Last year it was a vacuum, the year before a TV. This year however, it remains to be seen what we get.
My favorite part of Christmas is wrapping the presents. I love the ribbons and bows and matching wrapping paper. I love the smell of the tape and picking out gift tags. It's crazy. I'm crazy. I can't wait to start wrapping and giving!
I didn't know that I knew anyone that loved wrapped Christmas presents. :) R U for hire? lol
