Randoms

I don't have one main subject to talk about this week, but I do have a bunch of random thoughts to share.

1. Thank you to the person who invented the pacifier. Without you, I'd have to walk around all day with a baby hanging off my boob. The pacifier is Macy's best friend in the whole world.

2. I've recently stumbled into the art of couponing. Yesterday I used coupons on store sale items and got 2 free bottles of dish soap and 2 jugs of Purex laundry soap for $2 each. My last grocery shopping trip to the commissary I saved about $25 in coupons alone, and found out I can stack military store coupons with manufacturers coupons to get a double whammy.

3. Macy's figured out the art of smiling. She's going to have a big ol' cheesy grin like her mommy and big brother.

4. Parker should be getting his cast off and pins out on the 26th. We had a doctors appointment today and everything is looking perfect. Cross your fingers that's still the cast on the 26th or he won't be able to wear his Batman halloween costume.

5. There's still a lizard loose inside my house somewhere. It escaped when Dale's parents and grandparents were down. Parker and I saw it a few days ago on the window, but I was a weenie and freaked out when it moved while I was trying to catch him and he escaped again.

6. I've gotten a lot of freelance design jobs lately and it's been keeping me pretty busy. I really missed designing while I took my maternity leave.

7. I finally set up my new wireless printer and am excited to be able to print off my own coupons :)

8. We're getting the kids pictures taken next weekend. Macy has a pretty pink dress to wear, but I don't know what I'm going to put Parker in.

9. Cups without lids are now banned from being anywhere but the kitchen. Parker has a knack for spilling everything, even if its completely out of his way. It's nuts.

10. Today a lady asked me how I got my figure back so fast after having 2 little ones. I replied I needed to lose another 15 pounds or so yet. I don't think that was the reply she was expecting. Oops. There I go talking without thinking again. haha
