Just super

Here are some things I find just super. Please note the sarcasm.

1. There are 2 lizards loose in my house somewhere. Dale and Parker caught them and left them in a decorative jar on the table, and of course it didn't have a lid. We had just found the one we lost in the house a few weeks ago too. Damn.

2. Parker has a cold, or allergies, or both. He's come down with a cough that of course gets worse at night. I'm breaking the don't give cough syrup to kids under 4 rule because it's not bad enough to warrant a doctor visit but it's bad enough that I can't just leave him hanging. In my mind, it's ok though because he's almost 4, as big as a 4 year old, and I'm not giving him the whole 1 tsp dose that a 4 year old would take. Hopefully this will be the first coughing cold of his life that doesn't lead to a bronchial infection/nebulizer treatments. Seriously cross your fingers.

3. Parker's coughing woke him up about 7 times last night. Add that to Macy's nighttime feedings and changing and I'm a big sluggish today.

4. We made cupcakes today and I overfilled the cups on the first batch of course. I can't quite get this baking thing.
