11 months

Miss Macy is 11 months old today! Where has the time gone?

She's definitely a more happy baby than she ever has been now that she can walk. Yes walk. She took her first steps July 4 and even though she hasn't completely got the whole balance thing down, she has been hoofing it as much as she possibly can. Yesterday, after watching her cousin, she learned how to stand up on her own without the help of anything to grab onto. She's very proud when she makes it across a room all by herself. Of course, any time I have a camera out to document said steps, she biffs it.

She currently still only has 2 teeth. I've been assuming her grumpiness at night was due to more teeth, but it's been like a month, so I think she just likes to be grumpy sometimes. She gets that from her mom I think :)

Things she loves to do include following Parker around, eating stuff off the floor, and being everywhere I am. A few funny things she does are cry when she hears someone else crying and gets obviously jealous if Parker is sitting on my lap or beside me.

I'm looking forward to her expanding her vocabulary past mama, dada, and bye bye. I really think I'll be in for some funny moments between her and her brother once she's talking.
