Big brother

Last night, Parker and I attended the Big Brother/Big Sister class that my hospital offers. I was pretty excited they offered it as a way to help include him in on the whole process for when his baby sister is born.

They talked about what babies did, what things they could play with and couldn't, and talked about asking for permission before they touch the baby. After we went over that stuff, we went up to the labor and delivery floor and saw the recovery rooms and nursery.

Parker was a really good listener, and was so excited about the tour. When we saw the nursery, he had to tell me that when the baby is "boring" I can't cry and I have to stay very very still so that she can get out. I guess he's got the whole thing figured out now. :)

He's super excited to be a big brother, and I know he's going to be a big helper.
