Welp, she did it. She finally flipped to the head down position!
Today I had my 33 1/2 week checkup and all continues as it should be. That's fantastic news. I was about 75-80% convinced she was still breech when I went in and was so relieved to see that I was wrong. Hopefully she stays there too because everything I read about having a version (doctor turning the baby in utero) did not sound pleasant at all. It was enough to make me completely at peace with the thought of a c-section instead of even attempting to turn her.
With 6 weeks to go, my to do list includes:
1. Find pediatrician.
2. Pack bags.
3. Install car seat.
4. Return crib for refund or store credit and buy a new one. Apparently Parker's crib was recalled a while ago and we should not have been using it. Ya, I know, I should have known about it earlier. I guess it's a good thing that during the entire 3 years we had it he slept in it for maybe 6-8 months. The rest of the time he slept in my bed because I was desperate for sleep.
Not too shabby right?
Glad to hear that "she did it!" I can't imagine what a relief it must be.
