Since becoming a regular at the library, I've enjoyed having free access to books I want to read. That's the upside. The downside is the book I want isn't always there when I want it. I have to patiently wait for someone else to return it so I can read it and in the meantime, I end up checking out another book. This then adds to my reading list because I'm the type to enjoy series type books.
Books I've read/am reading recently:
Eldest, Christopher Paolini (second in the series)
Dead in the Family, Charlene Harris (ten in series of ten)
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, J.K. Rowling (third in the series of seven, yes I own them and have read them all before, but the library was closed for the fourth so I got desperate)
Fallen, Lauren Kate (first in a series of ?, next one comes out this Fall sometime)
The Amulet of Samarkand (book 1 of the Bartimaeus Trilogy, and a random library pick)
Books still on my must read list:
Brisingr, Christopher Paolini
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Stieg Larsson
The Girl who Played with Fire, Steig Larsson
The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, Steig Larsson
The Glass Castle, Jeannette Walls
Any other suggestions? I don't foresee myself ever not having a must read list.
