Fall into winter

There is one thing I love about being in Alabama and it's the winter weather. I love, love, love, how it consistently reaches 50-65 degrees each day. It's like it's Fall all winter, if that makes any sense. With the exception of Wednesday, when it rained all day, the kids and I have been able to enjoy part of our days outside. We usually like to take a walk, and if we leave the house we try to stop at the park to play.

On this particular day, we went onto Rucker and walked the Beaver Lake trail to get to the park. There we stayed for about an hour and a half playing until the sun was lower than the trees and it got a bit cold. It was a glorious time, and I was even shocked to see some dandelions.... in January.
