1. I ran 6 miles this last weekend. I did 4 on Sunday and 2 on Monday. I wish I was able to run during the week too, but running at night is a no-no for me. This place is too scary.
2. Despite all the running I've been doing, I'm not dropping any weight. I fit into my old clothes for the most part, but I really am not liking what the scale says to me. I've even been doing the whole Special K breakfast and Slimfast lunch and nothing. Well, except for today, I went ahead and said yes to some Taco Bell cravings.
3. Dale's sick. He's got the fever, chills, cough kind of sickness. It really doesn't look fun and I'm praying the kids and I escape it. After diagnosing Dale via online research which is never wrong, I'm convinced he either has cancer, a tumor, a blood infection, MRSA, or malaria. I think if he still has a fever tomorrow, he's going to visit the flight doc with all the printouts of my research since I received my Med degree via Google. Ok, that's a lie, but it'd be funny if I really did believe everything I read.
4. Parker saw a Bluejay today. He told me it's called a Blue Honey Bird. I think thats a pretty good name guess.
5. We took the kids to Chuck E Cheese on Saturday and Parker didn't want to play any games. He wouldn't let Dale play them either so we ended up with 45 tickets after using 45 tokens. Macy and I won at least 15 of those 45 too. I think we can officially label that as a Chuck E Cheese Fail.
6. Macy turns 5 months old tomorrow and will soon be wearing size 9-12 mo. clothes. She's growing just like her brother did... big and fast.
7. I've had 7 freelance jobs in the last 7 days. It's awesome and time consuming at the same time. It's also the reason why my posts have been so lame lately. Don't worry, work will slow down soon and I'll once again be able to bore you with boring stuff from my boring life.
I've been faithfully working out for over 2 weeks now and I don't see any results on the scale, either, despite me really watching what I eat. Frustrating.
ReplyDeleteThat is frustraing when you work so hard and don't see any results. Last summer I was working a 6 week training program, being faithful to it -- after the 4th week I weighed myself and weighed more than I started and said forget that.... I'll go back to my ole walking routine which has served me WELL over the years. I didn't lose weight but never put any on either. :)
