Starting solids

Now that Macy is 4 month's old, we can start feeding her something other than milk. I'd like to say she did great right away, knew just what to do, and ate her whole bowl of rice cereal. The truth is, she gave me a grossed out look and pretty much just let it all run out of her mouth. After two weeks of practice, the girl finally swallowed a few spoonfuls today. Yay!

Now we can slowly introduce some new foods into her diet. And by slowly I mean no more than one new food a week because babies with eczema are more sensitive to diet changes and we want to prevent flare ups. I hope she does better than Parker when it comes to eating. He had a major texture issue for the longest time. Anytime he got a tiny chunk, he'd gag. Even if it was a soft noodle. It was crazy.

Here's Macy taking her first bites.

For good measure, here's a picture of Parker's first bite as well. :)
