I said I'd do it and I did. I stepped up my training in March.
I ran a total of 36.11 miles last month compared to 28.7 in March, 2011.
I won't lie, looking back I feel like I could have run further. However, I'm not going to dwell on the coulda, shoulda's. It's not like I don't have anything else to do but run.
There are 31 days until the half-marathon. I'm running out of training time. My two main goals this month are to complete first a 9 mile run, hopefully this weekend, then an 11 mile two weeks from that. Of course in between will be plenty of 2-6 mile runs. My third goal would be to run further than the 46.1 miles I ran last April.
Daunting? Yes. But I'm excited to see what I can do.
