Garden of Gail

Welcome to my garden. As you can tell, it's quite large. Yeah, I've got 9 whole plants this year. I think that's like a record or something.
The good news is, this year I'm actually growing some stuff. We tried to grow tomatoes in Alabama, but that dirt was terrible so it never worked out for us. Then last year we tried to grow tomatoes in Nebraska, but the weather was off, so by the time the tomatoes actually started to turn red, it was about October and it all froze.

The following are 3 of my 4 tomato plants. Yeah, that 4th one's not making any fruit yet, but soon. I can feel it.

I have 4 pepper plants too. I think 2 are jalapeno, and they're doing great. The others have flowers on them, so I expect some peppers to grow soon.
And finally, here's my cucumber. It's spreading out and has lots of flowers, so I'm patiently waiting for some to grow. I'm encouraged that it didn't shrivel up and die. It was pretty questionable for a few days in the beginning.
Oh, and for good measure, look at these pretty flowers I didn't plant. I love it when stuff's already in my yard!
Here's how tall our one tomato plant is. Yes, that's Parker in his underwear. No, I don't think it's weird. haha.
And it wouldn't be a post without a picture of Macy too. I'm not sure what she's doing with her hands, but it's too cute of a photo not to share!
