Photos from Afghanistan

This first one is of D standing by a painting on a T wall. They are huge concrete barriers that usually surround the dining facilities, housing, and the outer perimeter. He says they're pretty solid. Notice how he thought it'd be cool and grow a mustache. He barely looks like himself sporting that squirrel under his nose.

Here is a Coke can that doesn't say coke. Plus, look at the mouth opening. It's so different than he's used to and I guess he doesn't like it as well. On the right, is a bag of chips he found. Of course he told me he couldn't get chips there, so I sent him a care package full of them.  As he was eating them, he opened up my care package of chips. Haha. He said they were by far the greasiest chips he's had. Not sure why but I guess they just glistened with it. Kinda gross but he ate them anyway.

This is Dale's little corner. Seems pretty boring to me. I guess I'll have to care package him some stuff to spruce it up a little bit :)

Here is Dale's locker. Not too much exciting to say about that.

This picture is of some of the bunkers there. They are all over the place and serve as a constant reminder of where he is.

The last is the hang out area they call the Rebel base. It has come along ways in the last week or so. The picnic table roof and netting are all new. Two weeks ago it was just the deck on the outside of the building with a couple couches and a chair.

That's about all I've got to share. Dale's been really busy, so I only get pictures sporadically. Please continue to pray for him and all the soldiers serving our country. They definitely don't get enough credit for the things they do.
