Yeah, I know, what books I read isn't really that interesting ... unless you like to read also. I know I get a lot more referrals to good books from friends and family than I do anywhere else.
So on with it:
-Surviving Deployment A guide for military families, Karen M. Pavlicin
Eh, pretty basic information. I can't say this was life changing.

-The Help, Kathryn Stockett
Great book. I can see why they made it into a movie, which I still need to see. The funny part about this one was I reserved it at the library, and when I went to pick it up, they gave me the large print version. :) It was the week I was having eye issues too. They must have known my vision was off that week. haha.

-Moneyball, Michael Lewis
This is another book (this one's a true story) turned movie I want to see. I read this book with a pretty basic knowledge of baseball, and it was still pretty interesting. I'm sure someone who is way into baseball would really enjoy it.

-The Everafter, Amy Huntley
It took me a while to remember what this was even about, so that tells you it's pretty forgettable. Of course, while reading it, I was totally into it.

-Sookie Stackhouse Companion Novel, Charlene Harris
I read this to get ready for the new Sookie Stackhouse novel, Deadlocked, which came out in May. It was like a synopsis of the series, with a few additional stories included. I'm excited to read Deadlocked when I get around to it.

-The Maze Runner, James Dashner (Maze Runner Trilogy, Book 1)
-The Scorch Trials, James Dashner (Maze Runner Trilogy, Book 2)
-The Death Cure, James Dashner (Maze Runner Trilogy, Book 3)
This may be my favorite series I've read this year. I just inhaled these books. You absolutely should read them.

-Insurgent, Veronica Roth (Second in Divergent series)
It was no Divergent, but it was pretty good. I'll keep following the series.

-City of Lost Souls (Mortal Instruments) Cassandra Clare
I thought this was going to be the last book in this series, and it turns out I was wrong, which makes me kind of glad. My husband randomly bought me the first book of this series back in like 2008, and I'm still going strong on them. Thanks babe!

-Snow Flower and The Secret Fan: A Novel, Lisa See
My sister referred me to this and I'm very glad she did. It's not something I would have picked out myself, but it was fantastic and thought provoking. I didn't want to put it down.
-The Outsiders, S.E. Hinton
Another referral book from my sister, and another winner. She has good taste. An interesting snippet about this book is the author, S.E. Hinton, was a 17 year old girl, but it was the 60's so she went by S.E. so that it wouldn't appear to be written by a girl. It went on to win several awards and become a cult classic.
-The Named, Marianne Curley (Guardians of Time Trilogy)
-The Dark, Marianne Curley (Guardians of Time Trilogy)
-The Key, Marianne Curley (Guardians of Time Trilogy)
It took me a while to get into these, but once they got going, I read them quickly. Yes, there was also that looming due back at the library date that was fast approaching, but they honestly were a pretty good series.
Up next:
Shadow and Bone, Leigh Bardugo
I am Number Four, Pittacus Lore
The Serpent's Shadow (The Kane Chronicles, Book Three) by Rick Riordan
On waiting list at library:
Rapture (Fallen), Lauren Kate, June 12, 2012
Graceling, Kristin Cashore
