Family golf outing

This past Saturday Dale, Parker and I went golfing. Parker was so excited to go to the golf porch, as he called it. It was a brisk 55 degrees, and the course was pretty much empty, which worked out perfect for us since I wasn't sure how fast my play would be.

Dale loves to golf. He golfed in high school, and always seems to sneak in some golfing every so often. I on the other hand, not so much. Back in 2005, I got a set of golf clubs for my college graduation, used them once, bought my own golf shoes and didn't golf again, until Saturday.

We had a great time. Parker loved riding in the golf cart.

Or did he?

Silly guy.

He helped us by pulling the flag out the hole when we were putting. We tried to get him to use his own putter to put Parker's ball in the hole, but he'd just pick it up and throw it in there instead. Then he'd try to do the same with our balls.

About halfway through, he found himself a big pine cone that he carried with him the rest of the course, then to the car where it still remains.

Overall, it was a great family day. We all had fun, and Parker was a pretty well behaved fella. I hope we get to do it again someday soon.

  2. Papa seen this posting and said he's just about ready to take off today!! :)
Also - I notice that these are typical "family" photos where Mom isn't in the photos; can't be in the photos because she's the one taking them. You should put some of your pretty face on here too!! We're happy to see you as well. You're part of the story. :) The photos are precious.
