We always start out our day at the park with a nice long walk. Parker is a rock star when it comes to sitting in his stroller for walks. He really enjoys to watch out for people, animals, and whatever else catches his eye. Our main conversation topic Monday was dog poop. Yes, he caught sight of a dog pooping, so the entire rest of the way it was, "ewe, gross, there's dog poop over there mom" and "there's more dog poop mom, it's everywhere." I personally thought it was funny, but we got some interesting looks from people passing by on the trail when he yelled "oh gross, dog poop stinks."
After the walk, we played and played on the playground. We always have to pretend to save lions, play ice cream truck, and he always makes me crouch down at the bottom of a slide and watch him go down it. It's definitely an interesting, and fun time. I hope the weather stays nice so we can go more often.
When we were all done at the park, we went to Dairy Queen to get ice cream. Parker was so excited that we were actually going inside instead of just the drive through that he was clapping and saying "yay". He told me he wanted chocolate ice cream, but ended up eating about 90% of my vanilla. Good thing I'm a big fan of chocolate and I got to eat his!
Oh, for the first time, a stranger asked me when I was due. I mean, I knew my gut was starting to stick out, but I didn't know it was an obvious baby bump yet. I guess it's true that with your second child, your body just knows what to do and does it early. I just hope I don't get as huge with this one because I was a cow when I had Parker. I'm sure there will be more on that in a future poor me post.
And now, the photos...
Funny story. :) Cute.
