Finally! Fish

For the past three weekends, we've been quite the fishing family. You already know about the first weekend so here's what happened the next two.

Dale and Parker went out by themselves the first weekend while I stayed home doing homework :( They were out there for a little bit then finally got a bite. Dale let Parker reel in the monster fish. I'm sad I missed Parker's first fish, but am glad Dale got a picture.



We went out again the next day as a family. It was cold and windy and while Parker and Dale reeled in the one fish we had, it got away. Parker had fun playing with the minnows and throwing stuff in the lake.




Then finally, we went out yesterday and had more bites than we've ever got before. A whopping 4! We had 3 fish on, 2 got away, and 1 became a nice little appetizer later that evening. The keeper was a 1.7lb bass. Parker helped Dale clean it, and was excited to eat it, but chickened out later when it was all cooked and ready. Now that we found a nice little fishing spot, maybe we'll catch more and he'll eat the next one.
