24 weeks

Today marks the 24th week in my pregnancy.

This pregnancy seems to have been pretty easy compared to my last. I don't have much to complain about other than some pelvic pain and the occasional round ligament pain. Most days I don't have any problems other than the whole ball protruding from your abdomen that I now have to work around. I'm sure if someone saw me attempting to paint my toenails, they'd get a pretty good laugh.

Movement has been increasing, and I can now see my belly move along with feeling it. This is my favorite part of being pregnant. I'm excited for when it's strong enough that Dale and Parker can feel it.

I had a doctor's appointment on Thursday and everything is fine. Little miss Dishman's heart rate was 151 and I'm measuring where I'm supposed to. My weight gain is less at this point than it was when I was pregnant with Parker too, which made me feel good about where I'm at.

While on vacation, I bought a ton of girly stuff for her arrival. Parker did a good job of helping me pick out lots of stuff for his baby sister. He picked out her first dolly, her blanket, and her crib sheets/bumper. For the most part, we're ready for her arrival. I didn't go too crazy on the girly clothes, because I know they don't wear them all that long. We have enough for our public outings and for when company comes over, so I think that's good.

I should take a belly picture so everyone can see how ginormous I am. Seriously. I'll try to get that done this week.
