Easter

Before we left for Nebraska, Parker and I had fun dying Easter eggs. I wanted to hide them and let him find them before we left, but the weekend was busy, so we didn't quite get to it. Here are some photos from our dying excursion at home.

When we got to Nebraska, he got to help his cousins Aurora and Camden dye their eggs too. They had the fancy 6 color box of dye instead of the boring 3 color one mom bought, so there was a lot of pretty eggs made.

Friday was windy, but the temperature was awesome, so we hid some plastic eggs for the kids. Parker had a good time finding eggs with Camden, who is also 3. This was pretty good practice for the big Easter egg hunt the town puts on, and although they found only 1 egg each at the town hunt, they were excited about the candy and dimes they found in their eggs. Afterward I took them to the local grocery store, where they got to push a tiny cart and pick out a soda to drink. The only thing that would have made the day better was if Camden wasn't sick. Poor guy had strep :( Now, I'm just waiting to see if Parker will get it and hoping if he does, it hits by Friday so I can take him to the doctor before we begin our trip home on Monday.
