Parker officially misses his daddy. I've done a good job so far at keeping him busy enough that he hasn't really questioned why we're here and where his daddy is, but tonight he had himself a little breakdown, poor guy. He was really tired and played really hard today, so I didn't think much of his crying really until he said "I miss my daddy!"
It was so cute and so sad at the same time. I just told him that it's ok to miss his daddy, and that we would see him very soon. I explained how daddy's a soldier and he's just working right now, so we're here while he works.
Tomorrow marks the halfway point of our 3 week long disconnection. We're ready to see Dale, and I'm about 100% sure he's ready to see us too. I know this isn't any vacation for him, unlike it is for us so we continue to add him to our prayers each night.
