Final Atlanta roundup

Our last hours in Atlanta were spent at Centennial Olympic Park. The highlights were the Fountain of Rings, the other water features, and the Googie Burger.

Here we are at the Fountain of Rings. It was a bit to chilly to play in, which disappointed Parker, but neat to see anyway.

We ate lunch at Googie Burger, a walk up burger joint located right in the park. It was pretty convenient and Parker thought it was so awesome that they served his hotdog meal on a frisbee. He just couldn't stop talking about how they gave him his very own frisbee. You can see it in his arm below.

We had to stop at the other water features to make wishes. He had 2 pennies at the first one, a wish for Macy and a wish for him. He got up to the edge and made his wishes. "Macy wishes for a book about dolphins that has bones in it. I wish to go back to Nebraska."

At the second water feature, the lucky guy found a penny in the grass so he got to make another wish. This time I didn't get to hear his wish, but I'm sure it was wonderful.
