World of Coca-Cola

The World of Coca-Cola is an artifact lovers dream. It has more than 1,200 Coca-Cola artifacts from around the world on display, an in-house bottling line so one can see the bottling process, and the highlight of it all, the Taste It room where one can sample 60 different soda products from around the world.

Everywhere you look there are things branded with the Coca-Cola logo. It was amazing how many different items were branded since Coca-Cola was invented in 1886. Everything you can think of had that logo on it and it was mind blowing.

Macy and I waiting to get in.
Parker getting ready to tour the place.
We got to meet the Polar Bear. Dale failed at picture taking though because he didn't get the one where we are all smiling like a big happy bear-filled family. Then I declined purchasing the photo from the gift shop. Dang.
The men in front of a cool truck.
Past Olympic torches on display. Just a few of the many awesome Coca-Cola related items on display. I kind of wish the kids were a little bit older so I could spend more time reading and looking at all the awesome stuff.
It was the cars that finally got Parker's full attention. He got down on his knees to view these Nascar artifacts. I had to get a picture of this pure boy at heart.
When he noticed me there, he didn't like that I took his picture.
Macy had herself a giggling good time while the boys watched a 4-D show.
The bottles from the bottling line when directly overhead. Pretty cool.
There were 6 stations in the tasting area. One each for Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, South America and the one dedicated strictly to Coke products. This one was for Africa and I promise you that most of them were terrible!
The Europe one, below, was interesting. Most were fine, but the choice for Italy was the worst thing I've ever drank. It was like drinking soapy dishwater with extra soap. Ugh. My stomach hurts just thinking about it. A couple of teeny-boppers came over and tried it while we were trying to get the taste out of our mouths and it was pretty hilarious to watch their faces.
Cheers! Dale and Parker were pretty adventurous in their tastings. Parker chose everything blue and Dale chose everything.
The family enjoying the station dedicated strictly to Coca-Cola brands. My favorite is Cherry Coke and Dale's the Vanilla Coke. Parker just liked plain ol' Coke and had like 3 glasses.
Of course we couldn't forget the mandatory bottle of Coke souvenir. We got one for the whole family :)
Overall, it was a pretty cool place to visit. I wouldn't say it's a place you can go to again and again, but it's definitely worth a visit if you're in Atlanta. We had a decent time.
