My February half-marathon training went really smooth overall. I completed two 6-mile runs and multiple 2 and 3 mile jaunts. My average pace per mile also dropped nearly a minute from what I was running in January. That's the good news.
The bad news is, a few weeks ago I said I was going to attempt a 7 mile run. I still haven't done it. I also didn't run the last weekend in February, for no other reason than I just didn't feel like it. I know that kind of attitude really isn't a good idea when the race is less than 2 months away.
I have set a 7 mile goal for myself this weekend. It will depend upon the forecast on which day I plan on doing it, but it will happen. I have to.
January: 15.42 miles
February: 23 miles
I wish I knew something inspiring and motivating to say! .... But all I can think of is hang in there, I'm rooting for you, I believe you will accomplish it.
