Family fishing day

Fishing is something we've obviously been doing a lot of since we've been in Alabama. We don't catch a ton, but it's a relaxing and we all enjoy it.

Last weekend we went out to a new lake on post. It's smaller, calmer, and there weren't very many other people there. The coolest part about this lake is that Chinooks are constantly flying over it. We don't get to see them too often since they fly the opposite way we normally are, so it's pretty exciting to see them. Especially since that's what Dale will be flying.

We were finally able to catch our limit in bass. Two. Oh ya! We had a few bigger ones that got away, but it was exciting to actually catch fish for once!

When it was time to go, we decided to let the fish go. Hopefully they grow big, and we catch them again another day. Then maybe we'll take them home and eat them.
