Baby Names

There are 3 questions I get asked more often than any other involving my pregnancy.
1. What are you having?
2. When are you due?
3. Got a name picked out?

The first two are easy to answer. The last, not so much. Picking a name is a hard decision and isn't one we take lightly. Our method is this: First, I make a huge list of names that I like then I give it to Dale to shatter all my hopes and dreams. Ok, not really, but he makes quick work narrowing down my list of names to just a few. Next, I stare at the remaining names until I decide which one will be the best fit with Dishman and the hardest to make fun of (because kids are cruel). Last, once we decide on a name, we don't share it with anyone until the baby is born. This last step is most important because it allows no room for anyone to give their opinion on your name choice (because like kids, adults are cruel).

So, for those of you wondering if we've picked a name yet, I can tell that you we've narrowed it down to three. I can also tell you which names were considered and eliminated for various reasons. They are: Teagan, Shelby (my fav.) Olivia, Carmella/Carmen, Aida, Anslee, Caylee, Chloe, Devan, Morgan, Kinsley, Shea/Shay, Sloane, Sydney, Taylor, Whitley, Reese, Reed, Saylor, Eli, Hadley (loved it), Dylan, Aly, and Paisley (also a fav.).

Until we decide on her name, I guess we'll continue to call her "baby sister" just like Parker.
