Today I had another doctor appointment. At 31 1/2 weeks, I'm fat, tired, and having an overall healthy pregnancy.
The only downer, Little Miss summersault insists on being stubborn and is still booty down in my belly. Does that matter you ask? Well, not yet it doesn't, but if she's still breech at my next appointment, I guess I'll start to worry. My doctor said that babies usually settle where they're going to stay at around 34 weeks,* (*not exact science) and if she's still breech we'll probably begin weekly discussions about c-sections instead of the usual vaginal birth/labor discussions we'd have otherwise.
In a perfect world, I would like to have a normal vaginal delivery without complications, but this world is far from perfect isn't it? So, I'm pretty much good with whatever as long as the end result is a healthy baby. I'm pretty big on seeking out all knowledge I can on topics that pertain to me, so I understand that a c-section would be the best option if she continues to stay how she is.
In the meantime, I guess I just see what route she's going to take. If she's anything like her daddy, she'll make her own rules and if she wants to stay butt down, by golly she will!
