I had another checkup today and I am now a whopping 2cm dilated. Wow, way to go body, making me suffer through "contractions" for a week only to increase a whole .5cm. Boo.
After some discussion, we decided to give her one more week to come out on her own then we'll schedule an induction. We really weren't planning on inducing until Thursday or Friday of next week anyway so it's fine to wait until my Wednesday appointment to schedule it.
Why weren't we planning on an earlier date? Well, I wasn't real keen on a Friday the 13th induction, so that's out. The weekend is out because well, it's the weekend. Monday isn't an option because it's Dale's birthday and I don't willingly want to make them share a birthday then Tuesday Dale has a big test, so that's out too. Of course, if she decides to come on any of those dates by herself, that's ok with me. I just didn't want it to be my doing.
I'm thinking tomorrow Parker and I will try to do some walking somewhere. If it's not too hot, maybe outside. Otherwise, we may head to Dothan to do some shopping/walking. Maybe that'll get things moving.
