This morning at 4:45 I was woken up by contractions. They weren't overly brutal, but they were obviously contractions. I laid in bed for an hour trying to go back to sleep, but who can sleep when they think they're in labor? I got up, ate some breakfast, watched TV and waited for them to get worse/closer together/something.
Well, obviously today wasn't the day. My contractions disappeared for a while, and even though they're back now, they aren't regular or getting worse. I guess it's just my body prepping for the real thing. Pretty annoying really.
We've got to hold out until Thursday evening now. Our friend who's going to be watching Parker is gone tomorrow-Thursday, and even though her husband is available to watch him, I know she'd rather it be her.
Oops, I probably just jinxed myself. Now that I say that, she'll come tomorrow...
