Week one

Here's a breakdown of how everyone's doing one week into being a family of four.

Macy: Sleeps most of the time, with minor fussiness when hungry, wet, or dirty. Does not like getting sponge baths and is most awake when she gets the hiccups. Eats every 2-3 hours and prefers to fall asleep while eating. Its looking like she'll have blue eyes like Parker. She prefers mom over dad.

Parker: Has periods of helpfulness and helplessness. He doesn't seem to be jealous of Macy, but is a little bit more whiny than usual. He likes it when mom and Macy come play in his room because he's got "tons of toys." Won't throw away poopy diapers but will throw away potty ones because they "won't leak all over me." He prefers dad over mom because boys are the coolest.

Gail: Tired, moody, and fat, but feels way better than she did while she was pregnant. Has about zero desire to eat, but is always thirsty. Has hopes that the pregnancy pooch she has will start looking less like a pregnant belly and more like a normal belly. She is getting into a breastfeeding routine and is happy it's going so well. Seems to get annoyed by everything at the moment, so fair warning...

Dale (as observed by Gail) : Is trying to balance lots of schoolwork and family life at the same time. Rescue's Gail when he gets home so she can take a shower and makes sure to do boy stuff with Parker before he starts to study for the evening. Is ready to be done with Instruments and onto the next phase of training already. Complains of being tired, but gets no sympathy from his mean moody wife. :)
