Growing boy

Today Parker visited the doctor for a physical and as always, he did awesome.

He's now 41 inches tall, which falls in the 93% for height in his age group and is 36 pounds, which put him in the 30% for weight. Tall and skinny like his daddy I guess :) It also means that since October 1, 2009, he grew 5 inches. Wow. I thought his pants all got awful short super quickly.

His ear tubes are out and his ears have healed perfectly. Everything else was perfect too. Well, actually they gave him a 20/40 for vision, but it was kind of a hokey test for a 3 year old. The eye chart they used had some shapes that I wouldn't say he was familiar with, like a thumbs up hand and a coffee cup, so he just said he didn't know what it was. I'm pretty sure he's got good eyes like his daddy though because he sees far better than I do with my glasses on.

Now that we've completed his physical, I can enroll him in the on post CDC. I've been putting it off for a while, but I think it'll be good for him to be around other kids in a learning environment once his sister is here. I'm not sure about what schedule I want yet, so I'll wait until I actually go talk to them about it.

My growing boy is getting so big. Sniffle sniffle. :)
