Half Marathon training, March

My March half-marathon training went pretty great early in the month. One weekend, I ran 7 miles without stopping and felt like I could have ran more. The next weekend I participated in that 10k race. Then it sort of went downhill.

I only ran about 4 times the last half of the month. No good. I always think that I'm going to be able to wake up early and run before Dale goes to work, but I'm so tired every morning after dealing with miss Macy, I can't do it. Dale's schedule has been crazy hectic so I couldn't get out and run much during the week. I tried to run 8 miles last weekend and failed miserably in the humidity.

I've got exactly 4 weeks until the half-marathon. I've got to really kick myself in gear this month to make sure I don't embarrass myself. The good news is Dale's only got about 10 more days of training left in flight school, so I'll have some more time to run later in the month. And, in the meantime, I can put the kids in the wonderful hourly daycare I've enrolled them in for a few hours so I can get my booty in gear.

December: 18.26 miles
January: 15.42 miles
February: 23 miles
March: 28.7 miles
