I don't seem to be really nervous about the race, but one thing I am nervous about is leaving my kids for 2 nights. Well, maybe not so much leaving Parker. I know he'll do fine without me. But miss Macy is a handful and I'm not sure how the Mr. is going to handle things. To make matters worse, she's been extra crabby lately and I think she might be working on that first tooth. Good timing right?
The weekend is going to really test his patience, that's for sure. Most normal days with Macy are definitely not easy going, and that's coming from someone with quite a bit of patience. The good news, and really the only reason I'm able to leave for the weekend, is my mother and father-in-law will arrive the same day I fly out. This is a huge relief to me and to Dale.
The best case scenario would be Macy being an angel for her dad, grammy and papa. The worst case would be her giving them a taste of our daily routine. Either way, I know she's in good hands and I'm thankful they're arriving just in time. :)
